Brazilian firm Gilda Meirelles Arquitetura is behind the design of this project which stands in the middle of the forest. This is a country house, in the inland region of São Paulo, designed to accommodate a family that lives abroad and welcome them during their long stays in Brazil. In the layout chosen for the house, there is one detail that stands out: from the hall, thanks to the double height of the living room and the huge windows, you can see the garden, the swimming pool and the beautiful view over the valley. Another highlight is the inner garden and the irregular-shaped infinity pool, which serves as a backdrop for the bedrooms and terrace of the EQ House. As for the natural materials used – wood on the ceilings and floors and stone covering some walls -, these complete this villa’s integration into the forest and ensure a full connection with the view.
