The waves of the sea, the relief of the mountains, the harbour as a resting place for the boats that are looking for it. All these elements have come together to form the façade of La Porte Bleue, which stands 57 metres high. Divided into four separate buildings with residential, shop and office functions, the white walls emphasise the intention of its Mediterranean style. Located in Marseilles, France, the project by Pietri Architectes makes use of 414 white concrete vaults to celebrate the power of shapes covering an impressive 13,000 sqm.
