Located in the village of Puy-Sainte-Réparade, France, MaisonP is surrounded by dense vegetation and stood on a hill, enabling panoramic views of the Alps. The simple volumes of the house were designed to follow the lie of the land, thus maintaining the natural slope of the hill and its ‘wild’ character. The project, by the firm PietriArchitectes, comprises the main house, covering 296 sqm, and an outbuilding, with 95 sqm. Built over one level, the house consists of three volumes: the garage, the entrance/kitchen and the living room and bedroom area. MaisonP is an architectural composition structured around empty spaces, reminiscent of the bioclimatic architecture of Provence.
