Normally the construction industry is limited when it comes to its ability to recycle and reuse materials, but the partnership between the Bureau SLA and Overtreders W studios, keeping in mind a circular economy, wanted to prove the opposite. The People’s Pavilion, unveiled at Dutch Design Week, is built with 100% borrowed materials, all returned to their owners after the event: concrete piles and wooden beams, lighting, elements of the façade, glass roof, recycled plastic coating, etc. The 250 sqm of the People’s Pavilion's reveal a new future for sustainable construction: powerful design and smart building methods.
