The land was even,
but the fact of linking two fronts, for streets with different levels of
height, enabled the possibility of giving the house an intermediate level and
thus strategically separating the pedestrian access from the car access. TILT
is the concept behind the proposal and characterises the rotational movement on
three axes of the volume, which constitutes the social area of the house. This
movement allowed the enhancement of the space destined for the courtyard,
giving it privacy with regards to Avenida Miguel Bombarda, known for its heavy
traffic. It also added a dynamic change to the ceiling height of the house,
highlighting the living room area.
