This project is a spatial experiment on the use of small-scale temporary buildings to boost locations. The properties of the sites change according to demand: from the primitive hut, which meets the basic needs of human life, to the church, which maintains the common faith and provides the first formal meeting spaces. This requires a new approach in architecture that involves detecting macroscopic urban problems and proposing systems to correct them through small-scale architecture. Located in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, China, Wood Pavilion #2 not only dialogues with the traditional architectural forms of a village, but also serves the local residents, who, in their leisure time, can meet and enjoy the harmonious relationship between the space and the surrounding nature.
