Lilu Natural Swimming Pool

Natural ecosystem

PHOTOGRAPHY PHILIPPE BARRIERE COLETIVO (PB + CO)

The 1000-sqm water complex in Tunisia, designed by Philippe Barriere Collective (PB + Co), included a swimming pool, a hamman, a health club and an organic café. A perfect place to relax and socialise with friends, have lunch or a snack and catch some rays. The swimming pool features recycled natural water, which arrives via rainwater, coming down the hill of the olive grove, or water from the roofs of the houses, which is then filtered. This ecosystem brings with it an extensive biodiversity, the role of which is to make the space self-sustaining, both in the natural pool and in the botanical garden.
