The rectangular effects on the façade provide a bold welcome, the windows standing out. The predominant earth colour in the building recalls the tranquillity of the interior. CORE Modern Homes, designed by Batay-Csorba Architects studio, is a development with 16 properties and is located along Eglinton Avenue in the Leaside neighbourhood of Toronto, Canada. These contemporary residences offer generous living and dining rooms and spacious kitchens. Each house has three bedrooms, including a serene master suite, which takes up an entire level; boasts a flexible loft space, ideal for family get-togethers, as well as four large entirely private terraces. The appearance of the windows further emphasises the nature of the property, bringing life to the façade. The idea was to maximize natural light and air flow on each floor. As such, the residence establishes a continuous relationship between the interior, the exterior spaces of the private garden and the sky.
