Alaska Exhibition

A cultural experience

1 de 3

Dark hues bring impact to the new permanent exhibit right in the heart of one of the renovated pavilions in the Anchorage Museum, in the Rasmuson Center – Alaska’s largest museum. GSM Project was entrusted with creating a new look for this exhibition that replaced one that was designed in the 1980s. The new gallery took three years to complete and adopted an innovative contemporary style, in which the design tells the story of Alaska with a more appealing and interactive approach. The goal was to show the North and the identity of Alaska in the face of environmental challenges that have been experienced over the years. This project represents a new notion on the different ways of representing culture and History. Now, since last September, a more open and interactive space, looking towards future technology, provides a different experience.
