Muskada is a Portuguese brand that first appeared in 2019, born from the
desire to create and recreate traditional items in fashion items. The
inspiration for this, as the name (meaning nutmeg) reveals, are the scents and
colours of spices that make us want to explore a world full of sensations. This
is a Slow Fashion brand, which respects the production environment and its
rhythm, valuing local production. All the baskets are made by national
artisans. The reed baskets, the most traditional of all, are the highlight,
made with organic and sustainable raw material, which goes through an artisanal
process from harvesting, drying, dyeing, weaving... which takes 14 hours (on
average) until the basket is complete.
