The Alfândega do Porto Congress Centre, in Oporto, hosted the second edition of Portugal Home Week, where professionals of more than 40 nationalities met to discuss the future plans of the Portuguese Homeware Sector and, of course, to promote new trends and exclusives. The event was divided into the Home Show forum, which provided a showcase for excellence of Homeware Sector products, including furniture and bedding, home textiles, lighting, domestic utilities and decorative and utilitarian ceramics. At the Home Summit, the future of the brand in the areas of sustainability, internationalisation and innovation were debated, a very significant forum, given that the company is responsible for 4.5% of the country’s total exports. Portugal Home Week did not end here, extending its programme to leisure activities, promotion of Portuguese design and offering the chance to visit factories and showrooms of national companies, making the two-day event versatile and inclusive.
