Volkswagen entered the new year with its foot on the accelerator as it’s planning to launch 34 new models in 2020, from which 12 will be SUV's and at least eight will be hybrid or electric vehicles. From the heavy investment of approximately 19 billion euros, 11 billion are destined for the development of electrified vehicles. At the moment, it is known that two of the confirmed models are the ‘hatchback’ version of ID.3, which will go on sale on the European market next summer, and ID Next, an electric Crossover destined for the North American market.
