Located in the heart of the Ciutat Vella, a few metres from the old Born market, in one of Barcelona’s most elegant neighbourhoods, Born House, the renovation of which was carried out by GokoStudio, is the result of the client’s greatest demand: an open and free-flowing space. An area of 50 sqm was thus transformed into a home almost without need of doors, although it preserves the privacy of the residents. This limited area has become a refuge, a place of work and a place to welcome friends. Through its functional layout, the apartment has been arranged around a central area. In turn, the location of the WC made it possible for the bedroom area to be preserved and protected from the free circulation of visitors.
