Budapest is witness to the
blossoming of a new project, designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects, the House of
Music in heart of the City Park. Three storeys high, the building moulds itself
to the forest setting that surrounds it, displaying brightly coloured metallic
leaves, which arouse nostalgia with their autumnal palette. The concert hall
offers abstract elements, although the soul of the place is the translucent
glass, through which a dramatic light passes and immersive acoustics are
retained. All the decorative elements have been meticulously calculated to
provide a harmonious atmosphere between musical notes and the theatrics of the
forest.
