A seafront apartment, located on the Costa da Caparica coastline, 15 minutes from Lisbon. A renovation inspired by the simplicity of the original fishermen’s houses from the 18th century, with the aim of providing a serene and comfortable space. Architect Fábio Neves, who is responsible for the project, says that in terms of materials, there is "a clear connection with the beach, in relation to the interior environment, in order to guarantee a serene space”. He also reveals that "much of the furniture was designed and customised in collaboration with local craftsmen”. A project twice awarded with the Grand Prix and Gold in the Prémios Lusófonos de Arquitetura e Design de Interiores (Portuguese-speaking Architecture and Interior Design Awards). This distinction, organised by the Lisbon Awards Group, rewards the best projects in the area in Portuguese-speaking countries. The project was recently awarded in the Paris Awards in 2023, in the Renovation category.
