The Vomero neighbourhood of Naples, Italy, recently witnessed the opening of Staj noodle bar, a restaurant entirely dedicated to oriental street food and designed by FADD Architects studio. Previously used by a typical Neapolitan restaurant, the venue’s design was inspired by the particular characteristics of the environment, characterised by a regular plan, high ceilings and four large windows in the façade, which give it great brightness. The entrance, which houses the custom-made wooden bar and display cabinet, is defined by a black and white marble chequered floor and walls covered in sage-green panels. "We were inspired by the New York climate to create a place with an international flavour,” explain the architects.
