BMW M has unveiled a new all-electric performance model placing it at the top of its new BMW 7 Series range. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive offers the perfect combination of electric mobility and performance, resulting in a unique driving experience in the luxury segment. The M version configuration consists of two highly integrated drive units on the front and rear axles, setting dynamic standards. Led by the M version’s specific design features, the i7 M70 xDrive sets the bar for a new era of all-electric mobility in the luxury segment. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive is the most powerful BMW M model. It is equipped with an electric motor on the front and rear axle generating a maximum system output of 485 kW (660 hp). An M-specific configuration enables the rear axle motor in particular to achieve unprecedented levels of power density. The drive unit has a six-phase design with a dual inverter. This forms the basis for a very substantial increase in maximum power. The electric range lies between 488-560 km (WLTP).
