Announced at the end of last year, the Corvette ZR1 aroused curiosity as it promised a top speed of 341 km/h, making it the fastest Corvette ever mass-produced by General Motors. In fact, the ZR1 takes only 2.85 seconds to get from 0 to 96 km/h. The ZR1 also excels at being the most technological of Chevrolet’s creations. The option of seven-speed manual gearbox, in addition to the eight-speed automatic, is one of the brand’s unprecedented attributes. Chevrolet has planned some optional extras, including two aerodynamic packages: one with a Low Wing rear airfoil and one with a two-way High Wing, the latter with carbon fibre inserts, Magnetic Ride Control suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.
