Germany’s Igus and Dutch start-up MTRL have developed
a bicycle made (almost) only of recycled plastic, which will be launched later
this year and will cost 1400 Euros. A product that will never rust, will never
need oil, and will never need "a clean”. Johannes and Benjamin, the brilliant
minds behind the idea, just wanted to make their grandfather, who had owned a
bicycle workshop, proud. The grandchildren who inherited that love for him,
tinkered a bit with the pieces and created this new concept that can already be
bought on pre-order.
