101 Copenhagen set out to recreate the façade of buildings, making them a decorative element. This is how Empire Vase came about rich in architectural references and of a vertical, slender design. Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl saw an opportunity to apply ripples that convey pleasurable tactile sensations in a simple vase. The brand’s creation is ceramic and, depending on preference, the colours of the model are customisable. Thanks to their height, it is possible to place long flowers and branches in the vases, which give them a graceful touch.
