The San Diego armchair is a unique, numbered piece. Made from solid wood salvaged from retired, abandoned or wrecked boats, it also reuses cords and metals from boatyards and fishing. It comes with an attached brass identification plate, on which the name, the number of the piece, the origin of the material and date of manufacture are engraved. Beyond being a piece of furniture, the piece represents the history of sailing and craftsmanship. It is signed by the artisan, artist and designer Elias Lanzarini, who lives in Praia do Estaleiro, in Balneário Camboriú, from where he creates art for Elaya Woodworks.
