Created by Ritva Puotila, Saimaa upholstery fabric, in addition to being soft to the touch, to being breathable, to offering high colour fastness against sunlight and also resistance to sea and pool water, is composed of 100% polypropylene fibre, which provides high performance in demanding environments, such as outdoor spaces in hotels, spas, homes and on boats. Available in four neutral colours, Saimaa fabrics can either be used on the brand’s own furniture, or in the Roo and My Lounge chairs/sun loungers from Woodnotes, an internationally acclaimed Finnish design company.
